With Small Colleges Closing, How Should Families Think About Choosing A School?

Across New England, students looking at choosing a college are facing a new question: will the school where I enroll even exist by the time I graduate?

This is spurred by a series of small college closures. Mount Ida College closed abruptly last year, and then Newbury College in Brookline, followed by three schools in Vermont.

So how should we be thinking about this new landscape?
